I extend my warmest commendations to the Oyo State APC Reconciliation Committee for the significant milestone they have achieved in unifying our progressive family ahead of the 2027 elections. The recent strategic engagement that successfully brought four of our esteemed governorship aspirants—former Deputy Governor Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, Hon. Hakeem Alao, Hon. Musibau Ashanike, and Hon. Usman Bakare—to the same table is truly a reflection of the hardwork behind the scene and to the fact that dialogue, mutual respect, and a shared vision are indeed the bedrock of our great party. I applaud these distinguished men for their deep love and passion for the APC, for listening to the voice of reason, and for taking the noble step of rallying behind the party's candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, PhD.
 
Having engaged closely with these leaders and party faithful in the past, I can confidently confirm that their decision was entirely motivated by an authentic love for the party and an unwavering desire to see the absolute best for Oyo State - that is what moved them to aspire in the first instance. No one within our ranks should view their eventual reconciliation as a process that was overstretched or suggest that they were reluctant to listen initially. On the contrary, we must celebrate their selflessness and recognise this unified front as an incredibly strong foundation upon which our impending electoral victory will be built. Their action sets a powerful precedent for prioritising the collective welfare of Oyo state residents over individual political differences.
 
I deeply commend the hard work, passion, and diplomatic finesse of Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, who is steering the reconciliation committee, alongside all its dedicated members and the broader leadership of our great party. Their tireless efforts have begun yielding the exact type of cohesion we need to mount a formidable campaign. However, while we celebrate this progress, we acknowledge that more work must be done. We still have other aggrieved persons and stakeholders who must be brought into the fold, and I am highly encouraged to know that efforts are currently ongoing to bring them on board.
 
I want to use this opportunity to make a sincere appeal to all those who may still feel marginalised, particularly my respected brother, Chief Bayo Adelabu, and others, to come together and join hands with us. Let us prioritise the victory of our party above all else. We genuinely need everyone on board because every single member's contribution is vital to the realisation of our collective goals. I have repeatedly noted emphasised that the task ahead requires a united house, and we cannot afford to go into the forthcoming elections with divided ranks.
 
I urge all party members to continue to come together, organise, and build unbreakable unity around these ongoing reconciliation efforts. This is a time for consolidation, not division. Nobody must discriminate, use inflammatory language, or make sweeping remarks designed to hurt anyone or appease bruised egos. We are in this race together, and we must remain collectively mobilised and motivated to do the strenuous work that will see Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, PhD and all our candidates across levels emerge victorious. This is our shared assignment, and we absolutely cannot afford to lose focus now.
