Today October 22nd, I add another year to a life that has been continuously sustained, shaped, and elevated by the overwhelming grace and boundless blessings of Almighty God. Standing on the precipice of this new personal year, I am compelled to look back not merely with a sense of passage, but with a deep, emotional, and reflective gratitude for the journey thus far. My life has been fundamentally defined by the raw realities of early struggles to make ends meet, an unrelenting pursuit of academic excellence, and the cultivation of a deeply rooted spiritual foundation. I was immensely privileged to be brought into this world by parents who left absolutely nothing to chance; rather, they painstakingly committed my early years to rigorous learning, moral discipline, and every noble endeavour that would ultimately lay the bedrock for the man I have become today. It is this formidable upbringing that provided the quiet resilience necessary to travel the vast complexities of human existence.
 
As I matured and the years unfolded, I meticulously charted a deliberate path toward those ideals I considered genuinely worthy of human effort and sacrifice. Every decision I have made, every path I chose to tread, the things I actively embraced, those I consciously rejected, and even the moments I remained indifferent toward, have all coalesced into the exact identity that people recognise in me today. I have come to understand that a life of purpose is not built by accident; it is the cumulative result of intentional choices, unyielding principles, and a fervent commitment to self-mastery. This deep self-awareness has constantly guided my interactions, it has ensured that my character remains anchored on integrity, clarity, and an abiding respect for truth. As a consequence of this intentionality, my pursuit of personal growth naturally expanded into a wider exploration of the world beyond my immediate horizons.
 
It remains deeply gratifying to reflect on how my life pursuits have afforded me the privilege to travel far and wide, immersing myself in diverse cultures, ancient civilisations, and the rich tapestry of human experience across global divides. These global exposures brought a permanent, sobering realisation - that human endeavours are truly limitless and that excellence belongs only to those who are daring enough to demand it of themselves. Driven by this conviction, I have been unapologetically daring in my aspirations; I sought and won the partnership of the best of women to midwife and nurture our wonderful children, and I have been painstakingly meticulous in selecting my inner circle of friends, intellectual peers, and political associates. These deliberate choices have enriched my life beyond measure, it has confirmed that the quality of one's journey is heavily dictated by the quality of those with whom one travels.
 
Through these interconnected experiences, I have arrived at the inescapable truth that I am an exceptionally blessed and favoured man. Almighty Allah, in His infinite benevolence, has endowed me with material comfort, robust health, a network of noble individuals, and the intellectual clarity to make sound, strategic decisions for myself and those who look up to my leadership. Beyond personal comfort, my greatest joy lies in the quiet reality that I have been a conscious instrument in building other human beings, particularly through educational and philosophical interventions and targeted mentorship. Watching young minds I once guided continue to excel globally, demonstrating exceptional competence while imbibing unshakeable ethical values, is a thing of joy, and it speaks to the fact that true wealth lies in the capacity to elevate others. This desire to build people and institutions naturally found its highest expression in the public square.
 
My active participation in politics is born out of a firm, well-articulated conviction that political inclusion and ethical leadership are the fundamental catalysts for our collective stability, growth, and development. Having previously offered myself to lead the good people of Oyo State, I remain irrevocably convinced that genuine public service is not dependent on immediate titles, but on the sustaining power of a shared, progressive vision. 
 
Today, I am entirely focused on advancing that collective vision under the banner of progressive ideals, firmly believing that our lofty aspirations for Oyo State are completely achievable through the strategic leadership of the Aseyori Support Group working in seamless harmony with our broader political family for the Oyo Ahead vision. When light-minded individuals align their energy and intellect behind a selfless cause, no barrier is too formidable to overcome.
 
As the sun sets today and ushers in the dawn of my new year, I stand before my Creator and my people with a heart overflowing with peace, renewed vigour, and an unquenchable passion for the work that lies ahead. The past has been a masterclass in resilience, the present is a celebration of grace, and the future remains an open book awaiting the bold strokes of our collective achievements. I step into this new chapter not as one who has arrived, but as a perpetual student of life, a devoted servant of humanity, and a believer in the limitless possibilities of our shared destiny. May Almighty Allah who has brought me this far continue to guide my steps, grant us the strength to finish well, and preserve our lives to witness the glorious realisation of all our noble dreams for Oyo State and our great nation.
