Dear good people of our great country, as a proud son of Yoruba land, I cannot look away while the political atmosphere in our neighbouring Osun State grows increasingly charged ahead of the upcoming election. Osun and Oyo states share a deep bond that is rooted in a unified history, vibrant culture, and common heritage prior to the creation of Osun State from the old Oyo State in August 1991. Because our historical destinies remain inextricably linked, the peace of Osun is fundamentally the peace of the entire region. It is with this profound sense of shared responsibility that I urge all political actors, community leaders, and party stakeholders across Osun to chart a definitive path of peace, restraint, and utmost decorum.
 
While my strongest support lies firmly with our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and our candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), I believe that true democratic victory must be earned through the strength of ideas rather than the display of force. Our electioneering must consistently reflect the high standards of the citizens we seek to serve—focusing strictly on substantive governance issues, developmental vision, and policy solutions that respect the intellect and dignity of the Osun electorate. We must earn the trust of the people by demonstrating that the APC platform remains the most credible vehicle for sustainable progress and shared prosperity.
 
In addressing the recent security concerns, I intentionally decline to trade blame or single out which political faction initiated violence or engaged elements of disruption. Instead, my earnest appeal goes to every political party and campaign organisation involved: respect the good people of Osun and allow peace to reign supreme. Preserving public order requires deliberate, intentional efforts from all sides, for we cannot afford the catastrophic social and economic consequences should political hostility be allowed to fester and linger past reasonable bounds.
 
Osun State must never slide back into an era where politically sponsored violence, intimidation, and crisis influence electoral outcomes; such a path is neither noble nor worthy of our democratic legacy. We must remain futuristic in our outlook and recognise the fact that the choices made today will shape the state's trajectory for generations to come. I encourage the good people of Osun State to march boldly to the polling units on August 15, free from fear or favour, to exercise their civic rights and choose the path of progress and departure from institutional malfeasance by casting their votes for the candidate of the APC.
 
I do commend the dedicated efforts of our security agencies who continue to work around the clock to maintain law and order across the state. In these critical days leading up to the poll, even greater vigilance, proactive intelligence, and uncompromising neutrality will be required to safeguard the electoral process. I shall continue to stay updated on the state of things in Osun State, and I wish to remind everyone that a peaceful and secure environment must be ensured for every voter, - we must fortify the integrity of the ballot and preserve a stable and prosperous future for Osun state.
