On Wednesday, Oyo State governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK), attended the Renewed Hope Ambassadors’ engagement with party members held in Iseyin, describing the gathering as a clear indication that the Oyo State APC is entering a new and stronger phase of unity, cohesion and collective leadership.

AKK thanked Almighty God for what he described as a new stage in the life of the party, noting that the growing convergence of stakeholders, grassroots members and progressive leaders reflects a renewed determination to reposition the APC for victory in Oyo State.

He stated that the engagement aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that unity, reconciliation and shared ideas must remain the guiding principles of the party as it prepares for the 2027 general elections.

“I thank God for this new phase of our party in Oyo State. The APC is becoming stronger by the day. What we are seeing today is the reward of unity, collective thinking and shared responsibility,” AKK said.

The governorship aspirant emphasized that the road to 2027 must be built on collective interest rather than individual ambition, adding that only a united APC can deliver purposeful governance and sustainable development to the people of Oyo State.
AKK commended the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for their commitment to grassroots mobilisation and party engagement, describing their efforts as critical to strengthening internal cohesion across the state.

He urged party members to remain steadfast, disciplined and focused on the common goal of reclaiming Oyo State, assuring them of his commitment to inclusive leadership and progressive governance.

The engagement in Iseyin drew party leaders, stakeholders, youth groups and grassroots members, all united under a shared resolve to strengthen the APC and deepen the Renewed Hope vision ahead of the 2027 elections.
