Today, I had the distinct honor of paying a royal visitation to the Palace of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, where I presented my book, “Our Realistic Tomorrow,” and unveiled a strategic blueprint for progressive governance and visionary leadership in Oyo State.
 
During my audience, I shared that “Our Realistic Tomorrow” is more than a book—it is a practical guide designed to address the challenges facing our state. It outlines actionable solutions for economic growth, youth empowerment, institutional strengthening, education reform, and ethical leadership. My blueprint is aligned with the principles of the APC Renewed Hope Agenda, focusing on governance that puts the people at the center of decision-making.
 
I am deeply grateful to Baba Olubadan for his warm reception and wise counsel. He commended me for the respectful approach I have taken and welcomed my aspiration to contest the governorship of Oyo State. He advised me to continuously seek guidance and ideas from my seniors and leaders, particularly Senator Teslim Folarin, to refine my vision and strengthen my plans for our state.
 
Baba Olubadan further advised me to continue revisiting “Our Realistic Tomorrow” and encouraged me to produce new editions as my experience and knowledge grow over the years. He also reminded me that while international best practices are valuable, they must be carefully adapted to the unique social, cultural, and economic realities of Oyo State. I have taken this advice to heart and am committed to ensuring that global ideas are carefully tailored to serve our people effectively.
 
I also want to thank my team, whom Baba Olubadan commended for their dedication and hard work. His advice to remain loyal, united, and steadfast in support of our mission is something we will continue to uphold.
 
I was honored to have in attendance distinguished leaders, including the Oyo State APC Renewed Hope Ambassador, Senator Teslim Folarin; Mama Mutiat Ladoja; Her Excellency Mama Bolajoko Bimbola Doherty, MFR; Alhaji Ademola Wasiu Ali; and Alhaji Yinka Folarin. Their presence reinforced our shared commitment to building a prosperous and well-governed Oyo State.
 
The occasion concluded with group photographs and goodwill exchanges, creating memories I will cherish as a symbol of the collaboration between traditional institutions, political leadership, and visionary governance.
 
As I continue this journey, I remain committed to leadership that respects our traditions, embraces informed counsel, adapts global ideas to local realities, and always prioritizes the welfare of the people of Oyo State.
